The Jones Agency, Inc. (“Jones”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is the owner and operator of the https://getjones.com/ Website and other products and services included therein (collectively, the “Jones Platform”).
This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains what information Jones processes and how we use it and what rights you may have in relation to it. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully as it will help you make informed decisions about sharing your Personal Information with us. This Privacy Policy applies to your use of any of Jones services and/or products, specifically the Jones Platform, and if you do not wish to be bound by this Privacy Policy, and thereby do not consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with it, you must cease any use of the Jones Platform, Jones services and/or products immediately. By using the Jones Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the collection and use of your information as we have outlined in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into the Jones Terms and Conditions (which can be found at https://getjones.com/terms-and-conditions/) (the “Jones Terms and Conditions”) and is an integral part thereof (such that, among others, the “General Provisions” and Limitation of Liability sections thereof shall apply to this Privacy Policy as well). This Privacy Policy, together with the Jones Terms and Conditions, the “Jones Terms”). All capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning as defined in the Jones Terms and Conditions.
1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
In order to use the Jones Platform or any of Jones services and/or products, we may require you or your legal guardian if you are under 18 or the age of legal competence in your territory, to provide us with certain personally identifiable information (which may also include without limitation User Data and/or Vendor Data and/or Client Data as in the Jones Terms and Conditions and below) (“Personal Information”).

Data Subjects. We collect Personal Information pertaining to
- Real estate property management companies (“MCs“)
- Suppliers or service providers, making their products or services available through the Jones Platform (“SPs“)
- Insurance brokers (“IBs“) offer their services and/or making in certain cases Certificates of Insurance of SPs available on the Jones Platform.
- Users who interact with any of Jones services and/or products, specifically Jones Platform, as part of an MC’s account, as an SP, IB or otherwise as also defined in the Jones Terms and Conditions.
In addition to the definition in the Jones Terms and Conditions, we refer to MCs, SPs and IBs jointly as “Clients”.
Types of Information. The types of information we collect, and share depends on your type of use of the Jones Platform, Jones products or Services. This Personal Information may include all User Data (including without limitation Client Data, Vendor Data) and additionally Personal Information such as:
Information rendered by Client or User
- Your name, contact information (including without limitation: first and last names, phone number, business e-mail, title), W-9 forms, insurance related documents.
- Your log-in information when you log into the Jones Platform.
- Business information including revenues, expenses, customer invoice data, company name, description and company location; and
- Your payment history and claims information.
- Payment details for the access of certain features on the Jones Platform including credit card information.
- Insurance policies and COI (Certificate of Insurance), including among others Acord forms and additional endorsements tailored to the User’s requests.
- Signed agreements and contracts requested by the User.
You can always refuse to provide us with Personal Information, however that may prevent you from using all or part of the features of the Jones Platform.
If you provide us with Personal Information relating to people other than yourself, you represent and warrant that you have securedsuchthird parties’ consent to Jones Terms and that you are free to provide such information to be processed according to the terms herein.
Vendor Data. In addition to the definition in the Jones Terms and Conditions, Jones may also reach out to existing Vendors or Vendors who have interacted with Jones and ask them to share their global certificates of insurance and view relevant details about them. Vendor data shared with Clients include without limitation such certificates of insurance, insurance policies, endorsements signed agreements and contracts requested by Clients based on their own document templates, W-9 Tax documents, and waiver request documents if a Vendor submits such waiver for one or more gaps and deficiencies in their insurance coverage, it will be reviewed by Jones against the Client’s insurance requirement, including without limitation through the use of manual and/or automatic mechanisms, all with commercially reasonable effort. In addition, Jones may share the Vendor’s name, DBA (doing business as), company address, contact details, and e-mail address, and policy files of the Vendors. Jones may also request Insurer names from Vendors, NAIC numbers, policy limits and endorsements, ratings, any other information regarding Vendor’s trade and services, service area and hours, social networks , company logos, google ratings and number of reviews.It is clarified that such information or any other information provided by third parties and not by Jones, or such use of the foregoing by User shall be at User’s sole risk and is provided on an “As Is” basis. Jones makes no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, any implied warranty regarding the accuracy, merchantability, up-to-date, non-infringement, reliability, operability, error free, or fitness for a particular purpose, and/or availability of such third-party information.
Technical data. If you use the Jones Platform, we may also collect information about the browser you are using including certain data which may be collected automatically and/or generated by such use (defined as User Data in addition to the definition in the Jones Terms and Conditions) This information can also include:
- device and usage information;
- your IP address;
- browser and device characteristics;
- operating system and language preferences;
- referring URLs, location;
- information about how and when you use the Jones Platform and other technical information.
Information collected from external sources. We may supplement the information we collect about you with information from third parties. This information may include:
- Insurer name and NAIC number and credit rating agencies of such insurer
- Publicly available registrars – Jones may include information sourced from publicly available registrars and government agencies, such as business entity databases, licensing boards, court filings involving corporate entities, and other commercial data sources. This information is provided on an ‘as-is’ basis for informational purposes only and may be subject to limitations under applicable laws.
Jones Platform generated Information
- We generate content relating to Clients, such as Jones Risk Rating (which is numeric score is calculated by Jones based on the SP’s insurance information, assessing the strength of their coverage considering the types of policies, limits, and endorsements). Such content is shared with other Clients.
We treat all information about you, whether it is received from you or from a third party, in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions.
2. HOW DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU?
We collect information about you in two main ways: directly from you and automatically through your use of the Jones Platform. You may provide personal details when creating an account or contacting support. We also collect technical data such as device and usage information, through Cookies, Google Analytics and similar technologies. These tools help us improve the Platform, personalize your experience and understand how users engage with our services.

As mentioned herein, when you create an Active Resource, account and/or prior to using the Jones Platform, we
may ask you to provide us with certain Personal Information.
Personal Information may also be collected when you contact our support or send us other communication. - Information Automatically Collected
As mentioned herein, we automatically collect User Data when you use the Jones Platform. This type of User Data
is technical information and does not immediately reveal your identity but may include device and usage
information which may be Personal Information.- Cookies
Cookies allow a web server to transfer data to a computer for recordkeeping and other purposes. Both
session and persistent cookies may be used in connection with the Jones Platform. These cookies are used
for security purposes, to facilitate navigation, to display information more effectively, and to better
serve you with more tailored information, as well as for online tracking purposes. We may also use
cookies to gather statistical information about the usage of the Jones Platform in order to continually
improve the design and functionality, to understand how users use the Jones Platform, and to assist us
with resolving questions regarding the Jones Platform. If you do not wish to allow the Jones Platform to
use cookies or similar technology, you may configure your browser to block them. Please understand that
blocking cookies may reduce the functions and services the Jones Platform makes available to you. To

We may use Google Analytics to help us analyze how Users use the Jones Platform. Google Analytics uses
cookies to collect information about the number of visitors to the Jones Platform, the webpage that

The Jones Platform may use other technologies, among other things, to track the actions of the Jones
Platform users, measure the success of our communications and compile statistics about Jones Platform

3. FOR WHICH PURPOSES DO WE USE YOUR DATA?
We use the data we collect to support your use of the Jones Platform and improve our services. This includes managing user accounts, processing transactions, resolving issues and fulfilling legal or contractual obligations. We also use your information for analytics, marketing and product development. In some cases, we may share data to comply with legal requirements or enhance security. Overall, your data helps us operate efficiently, personalize your experience and maintain a secure, reliable platform.

We use the information we collect (including Personal Information and/or User Data) for the following purposes:
- Legitimate Business Purposes: To facilitate your use of the Jones Platform and to respond to your inquiries, solve any potential issues you might have with the use of the Jones Platform and for other legitimate business purposes. Our “legitimate business purposes” may include, amongst others, creating and/or managing user profiles (including the collection, verification and approval of tenants’ and SPs’ COIs and then allow other Clients to view them), creating Jones Platform generated Information personalized content and communications based on your preferences, meeting contract or legal obligations, resolving disputes and enforcing the Jones Terms.
- For Everyday Business Purposes: We use the information you provide to maintain your Active Resource(s), report to credit bureaus, process or service requested or authorized transactions, secure quotations for insurance, obtain insurance coverage or report or process claims. For example, we may share Personal Information relating to certain service providers between Clients to enable everyone to enjoy inputs from our community, we may also share information regarding tenants between Active Resources under the same Client.
- For Our Own Analytic Purposes: Jones may also use your information to develop new services, conduct research and to create anonymous or aggregated reporting for its own use.
- For Our Own Marketing Purposes: Jones may use your information to offer products or services to you. In certain we may do so outside the Jones Platform.
- To Comply with Legal Requirements: It may be necessary to provide information collected from you to respond to subpoenas, other discovery requests, legal investigations or court orders. We may share information pursuant to a governmental agency or investigatory body request. We may also share your information as required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- We may use User Data to send you information regarding the Jones Platform and changes thereto, as well as information about changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.
- To enforce and/or protect our rights, property, or safety or the rights, property, or safety of our users or any other person or entity.
- In order to comply with and to assess compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
- To conduct analysis required to detect malicious data and understand how this may affect the user and/or our IT system, for statistical monitoring and analysis of current attacks on devices and systems and for the on-going adaptation of the solutions provided to secure devices and systems against attacks.
- For ongoing review and improvement of the Jones Platform to ensure it is user friendly and to prevent any potential disruptions; to understand feedback on the Jones Platform; for in-depth threat analysis; and to develop new products and services.
- We may use IP addresses for purposes such as calculating Jones Platform usage levels, helping diagnose server problems, and administering the Jones Platform. Please note that we treat IP addresses, server log files and related information as non-Personal Information, except where we are required to do otherwise under applicable law.
4. WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE?
Jones does not sell or rent your personal data but may share it in specific situations to support our services. This includes sharing with other Users on the Platform, service providers, insurance carriers and relevant third parties. We may also disclose information to comply with legal obligations, protect safety and rights, prevent fraud or as part of a business transaction. All sharing is done in accordance with applicable laws and only for the purposes outlined in our policies.

Jones does not share, sell, rent or otherwise distribute your Personal Information and/or User Data) except for the purposes provided herein:
- Other users of the Jones Platform in connection with the Services. For example, as mentioned above, we may share Personal Information relating to certain service providers between Clients to enable everyone to enjoy inputs from our community, we may also share information regarding tenants between Active Resources under the same Client. Examples of such use and sharing are (a) When we Collect, verify and approve contractor’s COIs and then allow other Clients to view them. (b) We collect tenants and vendors’ COIs and share them with MBs.
- With Our Service Providers: We may share your personal information with other companies and individuals for the purposes of providing services to us (for example, insurance companies, contractors, landlords, accountants, IT and communications providers and debt collectors). These services include, for example: performing functions or services for us or on our behalf, such as rendering data to gain access to information in public registrars to be provided in Client profiles, hosting the Jones Platform, sending e-mail messages, making phone calls, managing assets linked to you, payment processing, data analysis, customer service and marketing efforts. These parties are contractually restricted from using any personal information for purposes other than providing services for Jones or on our behalf.
- With Insurance Carriers and Relevant Third Parties: We may also share your personal information with insurance carriers and other relevant third parties in order to find and produce the best possible insurance coverage for you.
- If you are a Vendor or a Client, you hereby agree that any Vendor Data and/or Client Data may be presented and shared with Users of the Jones Platform, including without limitation information which Vendors are associated with which Clients.
- If we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
- If we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person and illegal activities, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved, all in accordance with applicable law.
- If we sell our business or assets, we may need to disclose our Users Personal Information and User Data to the prospective buyer for due diligence purposes. We may also share information with parent, subsidiaries and affiliates, and investors of ours primarily for business and operational purposes.
- Feedback provided by you may be presented on the Jones Platform and may be shared with third parties.
- Jones also reserves the right to disclose or use information if it has a good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of Jones or its affiliates, other Users of the Jones Platform, or the public; (b) enforce the Jones Terms and Conditions; (c) respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third parties; (d) respond to claims of suspected or actual illegal activity; (e) detect, address or prevent fraud, security or technical issues; or (f) respond to an audit.
5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND USER DATA?
We keep your data as long as needed for service, legal, or contractual reasons, but may delete it at our discretion.

We may keep and use your Personal Information and User Data for as long as you subscribe to the Jones Platform, and we may also keep and use your Personal Information and User Data as we may need to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce contractual rights. Note however, we do not assume any obligation to store any information or data on the Jones Platform and retain our right to delete any Personal Information and/or User Data.
6. HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND USER DATA?
We use industry-standard security measures, including SSL encryption, to protect your data. While we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

The security of your Personal Information is very important to us. To protect your Personal Information and User Data from unauthorized access and use, we implement what we deem as commercially reasonable technical and administrative security measures designed to protect the security of your Personal Information and User Data.
In addition, Jones uses industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to enable data encryption to protect User Data.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet, nor method of electronic storage, can ever be 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use the best commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information and User Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security or confidentiality. 7. CROSS-BORDER TRANSFER
We may transfer Personal Information and User Data to locations outside of your country. Your Personal Information and User Data may be stored with server hosting and backup service providers. You consent to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules than in your country.
8. THIRD PARTY POLICIES
This Privacy Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy practices of any third parties, including any third party operating any site to which the Jones Platform contains a link. The inclusion of a link on the Jones Platform does not imply our endorsement of the linked site.
Credit card processing and/or other billing in connection with your use of the Jones Platform may be handled by third parties retained to manage such processes. Your use of such services is subject to the terms of service and privacy policy of such third parties.

9. INFORMATION OF CHILDREN
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 without proper consent. If we discover such data was collected without consent, we will take steps to delete it.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 18, unless they have obtained the consent of their parent and/or legal guardian, or any other consent required under applicable law to do so. By using the Jones Platform, you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent, or the legal guardian, or the person who is permitted under applicable law to consent to this Privacy Policy. If we learn that Personal Information from a user under the age of 18 has been collected, without the consent of their parent or legal guardian, or the person who is permitted under applicable law to provide such consent, we may deactivate the Active Resource and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such Personal Information from our records. 10. WHAT CAN YOU DO ABOUT THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT?
You have rights over your data, including access, correction, deletion and opting out of marketing. Note that some actions may affect your ability to use the Jones Platform.

Some laws may give you the right to limit processing of data in certain cases, and other rights such as Right of Access the data, Right of Rectification, Right to be Forgotten, Right of Portability, Right to Restrict Processing, Right to Object, and Rights related to avoid automated decision-making. You can also opt out of receiving marketing emails by following the instructions in any marketing email or text message you receive.
For more information on how to reject or delete cookies, you should consult with your browser’s or device’s help documentation or visit www.aboutcookies.org. At this time, Jones does not respond to automated signals regarding tracking mechanisms, including “do not track” instructions from your browser. You can also opt out of internet-based advertising by installing a browser plugin from third parties where available.
Jones will respect and assist you in your realization and implementation of any of the above requests, as well as any further rights you may be entitled to under applicable law, however as a result, your continued use of the Jones Platform may be restricted or terminated entirely.
